“Do not neglect the gift that is in you…”
1 Timothy 4.14

These words were part of a letter of encouragement that the Apostle Paul sent to his friend Timothy, and I believe this reminder is just as powerful today as it was two thousand years ago.

Welcome to Trinity Church in Watertown, New York. Since 1828, our members have taken up this challenge and made a difference for Jesus Christ in our community. We gather each Sunday, the Lord’s Day, for the sharing of God’s Word and Sacraments, for prayer and for the blessing of God to do our work in the coming week. At Trinity we take seriously the gifts that God has given to each of us, and we own up to our responsibility to use them in our daily lives.

Trinity is a church for all. Our members are often actively engaged in ministries both inside the parish as well as out in the community. Children are taught the wonders of our faith in Sunday School, and all of our members, young and old, are invited to take on the parts of our worship to which they feel called.

I invite you to NOT be satisfied with a “cyber experience” of Trinity. Instead, on behalf of all of our members, I invite you to join us when it matters most, on the Lord’s Day. Do not neglect the gift that is in you.

Yours in Christ,
Clarke French
