“Therefore
encourage one another and
build up each other, as indeed
you are doing.”

Thessalonians 5.11
The complexities of life can be overwhelming without safe places to
ask challenging questions.
At Trinity we believe that our Christian faith speaks
directly to these challenges and gives us a Way through them that
leads to joy and wholeness.
Christian Education at Trinity begins with the Sunday morning
sermon. Our clergy are
committed to offering a Sunday message that is biblically rooted in
the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the pages of the Bible can come alive for
all, regardless of age, education or situation.
The ministry of preaching is led primarily by the Rector and
those he invites to share God’s Word.
A question he constantly asks while preparing to preach is,
“How is this bible story directly applicable to our daily lives?”
For over two thousand years, Christians have also gathered in
smaller groups to discuss the ways their own lives intersect with
their faith. And Trinity
is no exception. During
the program year we offer a number of opportunities to gather, to
learn and to share.
These include:
Conversations
with Scripture,
a weekly bible study that meets at 9:15 on Sunday mornings in the
Great Hall. Led by the
Rector, these discussions offer a real “rubber hits the road”
opportunity to engage the bible head on.
Beginning on September 9, we will begin a six week look at
Kevin Wilson’s new book, The
Law, Copies are available
in the Church office. Coffee
and bibles are always provided!
Just show up.

Foundations,
is a program we have especially designed for newcomers, although
“oldcomers” are invited to participate when space allows.
This program meets on four successive Wednesday evenings
and is offered several times each year.
As its name suggests, the topics explored in this course
are ones we consider foundational to any Christian’s life of
faith. We talk a lot
about Jesus, prayer, service, parenting and relationships.
All Foundations courses offer the ever popular
opportunity to ask the “All you’ve ever wanted to know about the
Episcopal Church” questions.
These courses are led by the Rector, the Director of
Christian Ed., and others who are committed to deepening the
faith of others. The next
Foundations course begins on Wednesday, September 19.
Pre-registration is required.

office

In addition
to these three programs, there are numerous opportunities that com
up throughout the year for both members and the wider community.
We are committed to the timely advertisement of these
occasions. Be sure to
