Trinity expects to celebrate Christ through steadfast worship, inclusive hospitality and service to all.
Our evolving social ministry provides many opportunities for all ages to be of service to others and, includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Watertown Urban Mission – Trinity’s long association with Watertown Urban Mission continues through our support of its Dollar Dinner program, donations of food to its food pantry and monetary donations to benefit other Mission needs. Volunteers also work at the Mission’s thrift store and food pantry.
The ECW Yarn Ministry – Members of the Episcopal Church Women create prayer shawls, lap robes, chemotherapy caps for cancer patients and baby hats for our local maternity center.
Supportive Prayer – Occurs when we join our hearts and minds to God, that health, peace, and wholeness might continue to take root wherever the need is found.
The Salvation Army – Volunteers of all ages, from time to time, have an opportunity to work in the Salvation Army soup kitchen.
Flower delivery – Coordinated by a special committee of the Altar Guild, the flower delivery ministry reachs parishioners who are ill, homebound or residing in nursing homes as well as those marking a happy milestone in their lives. Altar flowers are delivered every Sunday. Additionally, lilies and poinsettias are delivered at Easter and Christmas, respectively.
Ministries currently under development include USO support and lay pastoral care.
